Marilois Snowman is Chief Executive Architect and founder of Mediastruction, an independent media planning & buying agency founded in 2011.
Marilois began her career as a journalist where she honed her skills asking the big "what-if and why-not" questions.
Marilois is a writer and contributor to industry publications, most recently including MediaPost, AdExchanger, Digiday, MarTech Series and eMarketing Association.
Focused on data analytics and advanced attribution, Marilois has served on the Scarborough Advisory Board of Nielsen Media Research and on the I-COM Data Storytelling I-COM Incrementality Councils.
Marilois is a 2021 Silver Stevie Award winner as Female Entrepreneur of the Year. The Stevie Awards, the world’s premier business awards, noted that Mediastruction “Focuses not on vanity metrics, as is typical, but on outcomes.”
Passionate about giving back, Marilois has served on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County, a collaboration of police, courts and social workers to help seriously abused children. She is also a founding member of the Falmouth Community Broadband Network, a non-profit working to make high-speed internet available and affordable to every home in her hometown. Mediastruction employees receive a philanthropy stipend each payroll and hundreds of non-profits have benefitted worldwide.
